Online fast-fashion retailer Shein is planning to make its stock market debut in Hong Kong on Aug. 28, according to a person familiar with the matter, potentially ending the company’s long-running search for a public listing. The Singapore-based company, which was founded in China in 2012, is expected to launch its initial public offering as early as next Wednesday,Reutersreported. A Hong Kong listing would mark the latest stage in Shein’s efforts to go public after the company previously explored listings in New York andLondon.
