WHAT HAPPENED
Before having children, I enjoyed browsing clothing stores whenever a new season arrived. Buying a new dress or a pair of shoes felt exciting because I had the time to think about what I wanted to wear. Most of my purchases were for my family, while my own wardrobe became an afterthought. Months turned into years, and one afternoon I realized I was still wearing clothes I had owned long before becoming a parent. I wasn’t trying to dress like someone ten years younger or keep up with every trend on social media.
