WHAT HAPPENED
The voluntary recall involves 302 boxes of size 9 mangoes distributed between Aug. Individual mangoes can be identified by a light blue sticker labeled “Agrofepac” and “Produce of Mexico,” along with PLU number 4584 and UPC 07503061948050. The recall was initiated after FDA sampling detected Salmonella in mangoes grown on the same farm as the recalled fruit. commerce, but because they came from the same source as the recalled mangoes, Panorama Produce initiated the recall. No illnesses associated with the recalled mangoes have been reported, according to the FDA.
