Job Description

What is saas.group?

This job ad is intended to spark interest rather than announce an immediate opening. The role is for a future CEO position at saas.group, tied to potential upcoming acquisitions. We are continuously acquiring new businesses and are building a strong talent pool of ambitious leaders who want to step into CEO roles within our portfolio. If you see yourself leading a SaaS business with us in the future, we’d love to connect.

At saas.group, we partner with ambitious leaders to transform great SaaS products into category leaders. Founded in 2017, we’ve built a global powerhouse of B2B SaaS companies by acquiring and scaling high-potential ventures. As a CEO within our group, you’ll focus on what you do best — driving growth, building high-performing teams, and shaping product strategy — while we take the weight of administration, finance, and back-office complexity off your shoulders. With the backing of a fully remote team of 350+ colleagues across 50+ countries, you’ll run your brand with the autonomy of a founder and the support of an experienced network that sets you up for long-term success.

We grow 21 exciting brands under our umbrella. Feel free to explore our Candidate's Hub to get an insider's view, dive into our culture, gain valuable insights into our teams and how we work.

Also, don’t forget to follow saas.group on LinkedIn to stay up-to-date on our job openings, podcast episodes, and with all things happening at our company.

Profile Overview

We are looking for a CEO to lead one of our next acquisitions into its next stage of growth and scale. As CEO, you will own the brand’s PnL, strategy, growth, culture, and overall performance, driving both short-term execution and long-term strategic direction. You will work closely with our leadership team, board, and the broader saas.group community to deliver impact across go-to-market, product, operations, and finance. This role is an opportunity to shape the future of a SaaS business within a high-growth portfolio, while having the backing, network, and resources of saas.group.

Your responsibilities

  • Define and execute a bold, market-aware brand strategy, aligning with saas.group objectives and adapting to changing dynamics.

  • Lead go-to-market execution (PLG, inbound/enterprise sales, partnerships), owning commercial performance and revenue growth.

  • Drive operational excellence: build budgets, track KPIs, optimize ROI, and implement process improvements that increase efficiency and scalability.

  • Build, coach, and retain a high-performing leadership team; create succession plans and ensure organizational resilience.

  • Foster innovation by identifying disruptive trends (including AI), experimenting with new business models, and making data-driven bets that strengthen market position.

  • Champion a strong culture: set high performance standards, encourage collaboration, ensure alignment with saas.group values, and embed diversity and inclusion.

  • Represent the brand externally with customers, partners, investors, and industry stakeholders.

What You bring to the table

  • Proven leadership experience as a CEO, GM, or senior executive in a B2B SaaS company, with a strong track record of driving growth and building enduring businesses.

  • Demonstrated ability to craft and execute strategy, including successful GTM approaches (PLG, enterprise sales, partnerships) and strategic market decisions.

  • Strong financial acumen: budgeting, forecasting, and P&L responsibility, with proven ability to link financial discipline to sustainable growth.

  • Experience leading organizational transformation through process improvements, operational standardization, and adoption of cutting-edge practices.

  • A talent magnet: skilled at hiring, developing, and retaining top performers, mentoring future leaders, and creating succession pipelines.

  • Strong people leadership: ability to set goals, hold teams accountable, address performance issues decisively, and nurture a culture of excellence.

  • Visionary mindset with the ability to communicate a compelling long-term direction that inspires both internal and external stakeholders.

  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with fluency in English (additional languages are a plus).

  • AI Literacy & Application: You actively use AI tools to enhance personal productivity and work quality, staying curious about emerging capabilities and identifying opportunities to apply AI pragmatically in day-to-day work.

What’s in it for You

  • Ultimate flexibility: We’re 100% remote. You can work from wherever you like, whenever you like.
  • Freedom and autonomy: We’re a high-trust team, and you’ll be given lots of flexibility to solve problems in your own way — with plenty of help from the team when you need it.
  • Minimum bureaucracy: We don’t like to get bogged down with meetings and red tape. We like to be efficient and keep momentum steady & sustainable.
  • Small & friendly team: We help each other out, have fun, and joke around.
  • Our network: We are a community of entrepreneurial SaaS professionals that regularly exchange ideas, knowledge, learning and expertise with each other internally.
  • Flexible time off: We want you to recharge your batteries when needed.

We don’t just simply offer you to “take a job with us” but rather to “join us on this journey” to build the world's largest platform of independent SaaS companies.

Sounds like something you’re up for? Feel free to apply even if you don’t check all these boxes. We believe in the power of diversity and fresh perspectives to spice up our team. Your application might just be the missing ingredient!

We believe in fair and transparent pay.
